Nursery School

 

At the little people’s place Nursery School we’ve been helping children grow into happy confident and caring individuals since 2009!

Situated in a most beautiful, lush garden in Wierda Park, our spaces are specifically designed to nurture and develop children from 18 months to 5 years of age.

We are a non-denominational school and welcome children of all races, cultures, religious beliefs, and backgrounds. We believe and instill in all our little people acceptance and tolerance of all people who form part of our diverse cultural heritage.

We specifically focus on school readiness through the development of the whole child which includes physical development, cognitive and language development, auditory and visual perceptual development and social emotional development.

What we offer:

  • We accept children from 18 months to 5 years of age
  • We are registered and fully compliant with the Department of Health, City of Tshwane and Department of Education (EMIS Number: 700902125)
  • All inclusive fees – incl all meals, intra murals & holiday care
  • English medium
  • CCTV Camera Surveillance throughout our school
  • Bright and spacious classrooms with ratios in accordance with the Department of Education Guidelines
  • Warm, loving and stimulating environment
  • The ELDA’s Curriculum according to the National Curriculum Framework is followed.
  • Warm, cooked meals that are freshly prepared by our designated cook

  • Separate toddler play area
  • Clean environment with the strictest standards of hygiene. We also service our entire facility on a weekly basis with a revolutionary disinfectant solution to help curb against the effects of viruses and bacteria.
  • Designated mattresses and bed linen for each child
  • Staff trained in toddler stimulation and childcare, early childhood development, CPR and First Aid and Basic Firefighting. The Principal holds a Level 3 First Aid & Trauma Counselling Certificate.
  • We are open during all school holidays, except December holidays (holiday care included in fees)
