At the little people’s place Nursery School we’ve been helping children grow into happy confident and caring individuals since 2009!
Situated in a most beautiful, lush garden in Wierda Park, , our space nurtures children from 2 to 5 years of age. We are a non-denominational school and welcome children of all races, cultures, religious beliefs, and backgrounds.
We are conveniently located near Springvale Primary School, SPARK Centurion, Pinnacle Raslouw, Cresta College, Sutherland High School, Amberfield College etc. with easy access to main routes to and from Monovani, Stoneridge, Heuweloord, Amberfield, Wierda Park and Eldoraigne.
We believe and instill in all our little people acceptance and tolerance of all people who form part of our diverse cultural heritage.

Development
the little people’s place Nursery School is a nurturing, secure environment for children to thrive in. With a completely integrated approach to learning, we use a variety of activities to encourage physical development; social, emotional, and cognitive development and auditory and visual perceptual development.
This is cultivated through music, baking & cooking, sports orientation and speech and drama and arts and crafts; whilst large motor skills are refined through outdoor play on our state-of-the-art play system and through a host of intramural and extramural activities.
Learning is FUN – we have a “learning through play” philosophy where experiential learning is all part of becoming healthy, well-balanced individuals.
Progress
We understand that knowing what is going on with your little one is vital to you, so to help track your child’s growth, we conduct daily observations of each child. In addition to frequent check-ins with parents, we provide one verbal (through Parent Feedback Sessions ) and two written progress reports per year (mid-year and year-end).
Staff
We have a committed team of friendly and caring teachers, with a wonderful track record. All of our staff are truly dedicated to their roles in developing and nurturing your children and work hard to provide the best environment for learning and play.
Each class has a qualified teacher, capable of taking care of all the needs of your child, by having the necessary qualifications and experience as well as First Aid and CPR Training and Basic Firefighting Training.
Communication is encouraged between parents and teachers, regarding the physical, mental, and emotional development of your child, and a Communication Book as well as access to our school app is issued to every child to make communication easier for working moms and dads.
